Fire crews are working continuously to contain two major brush fires that has struck the Miami-Dade County.
In Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue continues working alongside Florida Forest Service to contain the brush fire near the 40800 block and Card Sound Rd, which is around 4000 acres, with 20% contained.
Although the fire is not near any commercial or residential areas, they urge the community to stay informed about any possible road closures and stay safe.
They also continue working to contain the brush fire in southeast Miami-Dade.
The fire spans approximately 24,000 acres, with 30% contained and crews are working tirelessly to protect the community and extinguish the fire.
Despite the ongoing battle to control the flames, NASCAR races at Homestead-Miami Speedway went on without interruption and fans enjoyed the event, undeterred by the smoke-filled air.
