Marine scientists have discovered the largest ever deep-sea nursery – harbouring more than 1,000 brooding octopuses. Researchers aboard the Nautilus Exploration Vessel hit the eight-legged jackpot when they found a congregation of around one thousand octopuses gathered beneath the water, just off the coast of Monterey, California, USA.
