A Princess Diana lookalike revealed that she would offer King Charles III a free subscription to her online modelling site.
Lauren Spencer, from Devon, UK, is a full-time content creator who has been compared time and time again to Princess Diana.
Playing on the fact she has been compared to the late princess, Lauren has been told since the age of 12 how similar they look, and now uses this to her advantage in her work as an adult content creator.
Lauren gets a lot of different requests as an adult star, but she revealed that for the coronation, she will be tailoring her content specifically for the occasion – using a throne for her scenes and getting her husband to dress up as King Charles himself.
Once the owner of a cleaning company, Lauren started her new modelling career in the Covid lockdown when she was unable to work, and hasn’t looked back since.
She even revealed that the demand for her content is extremely high.
Lauren said: “With all of the world leaders offering gifts, I thought it only seems right to offer the palace a free trial subscription to my site.
“I will send the free trial to the King as a thank you for his service to our country and the Commonwealth. It’s only right.
“He’s going to be a great king and we should celebrate and we know he likes to have fun.”
Lauren’s comparison to Lady Diana not only comes from her looks but from her similar height and build as the princess.
She said: “When people want that Royal Family fantasy, they come to me and it’s brought to life.
“I have even done a few videos in the revenge dress!
“”I have done a few sitting on the throne role-play videos and voice message videos.
“I love the role-play aspect. I find it fun – my style is fun, old-school and tongue-in-cheek.”
Lauren is fully prepared for her royal content with a range of props at the ready, such as a crown and a brooch to hold her Union Jack cape together.
Despite Lauren’s passion for her new career path, not everyone seems to be a fan.
However, she claims it doesn’t bother her and likes the transition from looking like a well-mannered housewife to showing her ‘fun’ side.
She said: “You get haters but you also get supporters, but the way I see it is that it’s completely legal.
“I am probably paying more tax than they are as it has put me among the top earners in the UK.
“People can say what they want, but all I want to do is get enough money to have a home with enough land to rescue animals.”
Lauren’s elegance and class is what draws in her fans and she has been booked non-stop for cameos.
She said: “This is the best thing that ever happened to me.
“If people think about it negatively it will only be for a few seconds. I’m not that bothered.
“You can’t pay the bills with self-respect.”
Lauren added: “It is flattering to be told I look like Diana. I think she was also a nice and kind person. I am flattered.”
Her celebrations for the coronation deterred away from the usual street parties with a more personal and intimate party for her friends.
She really has found her niche on the modern career ladder.
