Thousands of wildebeest, Zebras, elephants and other animals thundered across the plains and rivers in one of nature’s most breathtaking migrations. The incredible scenes were captured by wildlife photographer Roger de la Harpe while with his wife Pat from Western Cape, South Africa. During their travels through Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The pair documented the herds’ dramatic river crossings, the heart of their 3,000km annual journey that follows the seasonal rains in a continuous loop across East Africa. The couple made two trips to capture the migration, one to witness the chaotic Grumeti and Mara River crossings in the north.
