But parents Michelle and Ed soon realised their sons Parker and Doug were homesick – but not for the family and friends they’d left behind.
The two boys were devastated when they realised popular British bakery Greggs didn’t follow them down under.

The boys were heartbroken that they couldn’t buy their favourite baked snacks in Australia.
So the creative primary school pupils decided to bake their own sausage rolls and even made a cardboard Greggs store to eat them in, much to their bemusement of their new pals.
Despite Australian sausage rolls being a popular snack and Aussie bakeries all over the country, nothing seems to hold a candle to Greggs for these fanatics.

Sausage rolls are most closely associated with British cuisine, but they are popular in many countries, including several former Commonwealth nations.
With over 2,000 stores in the UK, Greggs sells five sausage rolls every second, equivalent to one million a day.
It seems as though the nation wouldn’t be able to let go of this beloved bakery too.
